Giving food to the extremely poor
village Quiakisuyal, in Huehuetenango,
Guatemala, for Christmas
Families live in one-room shacks built
with sticks and debris; with dirt floors,
and roofs made of scraps of corrugated
metal. Their food: scarce quantity of
tortillas; sometimes beans and rice. No
potable water or electricity, no jobs. Poor
access to education and health services.
Our goal: to send them a basket of food
Thanks for your generous donations.
On December 20th, 91 families of
Quiakisuyal received food and had a big
smile on their faces. Thanks to memebers
of the church Palabra en Acción in
Huehuetenango who helped in the
distribution of the food.
Raising money for Quiakisuyal
through garage sales.
